Christmas gifts

I am enjoying ALL of my Christmas presents. Don't mean to brag...but I have the best family ever! Everyone spoiled me so bad this year... I got a much needed comforter, Urban Outfitters gift cards, sewing scissors, first pair of TOMS...finally,

the cutest little owl book ends, and two books I've been wanting for forever now! Handmade Nation the rise of DIY, Art, Craft, and Design and The Handmade Marketplace. I am so stoked to read both of them!

21 before 22...

My 21st Birthday was the 22nd of December. It was the most amazing day ever! Even though I had to work, I got off early and then my friends Jennifer and Megan took me to lunch at our local bagel shop and went shopping downtown. Then my friend Kasandra flew home from collage and my brother and sister took me out to dinner. I loved it! Good, good day :)

I got this idea here. It was so cute and such a good idea, I just had to make one for myself. These are all the things I want to do before my next b-day. Some of them are silly and some of them my be unrealistic, but a goal's a goal and I'm going to try my hardest to do every single one.

Here's to another year! Hope everyone has an amazing next year. Make the Most of it :)

Hello and Goodbye

My sista' Kasandra got to come home this Christmas from school! It made my week so wonderful! She got here on my Birthday (which was the best bday present EVER!). I sent her back off to Philadelphia today... I hate goodbyes :( We didn't get to do as much as we wanted cause she wasn't here for very long, But it was so much fun :) Now only 5 more months until I can see her again...

I also had to say goodbye to my hubby today.

His band is going on tour for 5 weeks. This will be sad, but good as far as doing more sewing stuff... which I've kinda neglected this month (bad me!)

My Christmas was Amazing!!! I hope yours was too!

DIY Christmas

Cutest little diy Christmas projects that I've came across this week. I want to do every single one!

So busy making Christmas presents! I have so much to make and not enough time! Oh well... it's been fun. I love sewing days and I've had quite a bit lately. I'll take pics if some of the things I make and post them AFTER Christmas lol. I did find this awesome DIY project that I may or may not be doing for someone :)

I finally got CS5 on my computer! That means no more fooling around with stinkin' gimp. Oh and I also got a droid with an 8 mg pixel camera, which means no more crappy cell phone pictures. :P

Handmade Christmas Presents

Yep...That's mainly what we're doing this year. Handmade. It's so much more fun! and also so much more stressful! I wish I got this started a little earlier this year. I guess I forget that my family has more then doubled these past couple of years. Which is good :)

I promise I will have more stuff up in my Etsy shop sometime very soon after Christmas. I was going to try to make it happen before Christmas, but that's not gonna happen :(

I also promise to not neglect my blog. I will have lots more fun stuff coming up soon, including a new tutorial and hopefully a whole new layout, once I get pictures taken.

I just finished watching the first Wes Anderson movie. That means I have now officially seen ALL of his movies. They are some of my favorites! He does The Life Aquatic, The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, Fantastic Mr. Fox a lot more. I highly recommended them.
