Cup Cake Heaven

So this weekend I decorated almost 200 cupcakes for a wedding. It was so much fun! The wedding I did them for was doing a cupcake bar... which was, might I say, adorable!
Sadly, all I had this weekend was my phone, so excuse the bad pics. I had to deliver all the cupcakes and the wedding cake that my SIL made. It was a little nerve wracking, but luckily my sister helped me. This wedding was so beautiful and so laid back. I wish I got more pics. I'm sure they had a lovely, lovely night!

Time Does Fly

I can't believe the summer is already half way over... But it's been great! More then great. I don't want it to end, but then again, I am so excited for the next season. We have a lot of exciting plans for this fall and winter. I am really hoping to start sewing full time and take it more seriously and Chase is going to finally be able to pursue his music full-time. I have no clue where we will be this time next year, but hopefully we will learn a lot and have a great experience doing so.

This month I got to:
Celebrate Chase's Birthday
Take care of my SIL's garden
Have a water balloon fight
House sit
Decorate almost 200 cupcakes
Have a yard sale
Go to coffee a lot more then normal
And hang out with all my dear friends

Rocket Ship Diaper Bag

My sister in law Sara asked me to make a diaper bag for one of her friends that's having a baby boy (C.B. is the baby's initials). It was really fun to make and I was super lucky to find the inside star material. Thanks Sara for the fun project!

Once again if you or someone you know needs a diaper bag, let me know. $20 plus cost of material (or you can provide your own) contact me for details (brennahorse@gmail.com).

Today is the beginning of a new week. Make it a good one!

Decor Favorites

I haven't done a decor post for quite some time and I miss it. So here's another one. I'm not sure if anyone even cares to read these silly dreamy decor posts of mine, but I like to remember all the cool decor ideas I find. I wonder if our kids will ever look at stuff we liked and say "Eww! What were you thinking?..." But these are so adorable to me right now, I just can't help but love 'em!
This hanging chair look so relaxing. I just want to curl up with a book. [source]

Always loved lights like these. So simple and so amazing. [source]

This wallpaper is so sweet! I am so in love with poppies. My favorite :) [source]

 Cute! Enough said. [source]

 Love this style <3 [source]

Love Tee-Pee's. I would make one, but I'd have to wait until I have kids or people would really think I'm a crazy lady. [source]

 B-E-A-UTIFUL! [source]

Pretty! I can't even imagine how much time this would take ...But it would be well worth it! [source]

June/July Yard Sale Finds

These past few weeks have been great yard sale weekends! I found so much fun things. I've really had to resist a lot of things I find because I'm trying to get rid of stuff and it won't do any good if I keep getting more stuff. But here's a few things I found this month...
A Sweet belt buckle for my brother.
A locket! I've been wanting one for so long. It made me really happy when I saw this.
An amazing suitcase to match my other two.
And a bunch of vintage wrapping paper. The little Indians are my favorite :)

Summer Happenings

This summer has been great so far!
Lots of sewing, swimming, bbq's, family time, friend time, hiking, biking, baking, and so much more! This is for sure one of the best summers I've ever had... and it's not even over yet! The 15th was my sweet husbands Birthday :)
We ended up postponing the party because my M-I-L and B-I-L were both sick. But we'll have big bbq sometime next week for him. Only a little over a month until we move so I'm going to have to cram a lot in to these next few weeks, but it will be great!

Joy Ride

I've practically been begging Chase to go on a bike ride with me all summer. I finally talked him in to it the other day and I think he had lots of fun. We just rode to the river only about 10 blocks away but it was still a nice short ride.
We found a place that had literally hundreds of little baby frogs. So if I ever want to go frog hunting I know where to go now!
And then we raced the storm home...
