Pillow Party

In the mood for making some pillows.... I really like all of these

So lovely! I think I like the boy and girl stick figure pillows the best.
Hope your Thanksgiving was as good as mine! The Holiday season has officially started! Time to start making Christmas presents!

More Home Decor

I seriously love it so much! I don't know what it is, but I'm so attracted to almost anything to do with home decor. Even though I won't have my own house to decorate for a while doesn't meant I can't start planning right? I love these ideas...

Watching Florance And The Machine on SNL right now :) She's amazing!

Craft Sale Table

Working on my table today for all these upcoming craft sales

My mom had this gargantuan jar and i wanted so bad to use it on my table, but didn't have anything to sell to put in it and I was having a hard time coming up with a way to put my name on my table. So I filled it with red and white balls of yarn and put my logo in it. I love how it turned out :)

This is my favorite part about my table. Probably cause the stuff in it took me more time to make... and I love the case <3
  Red Rabbit tags
I ripped up an old dictionary for a desk I'm refinishing (pics up soon) so i used the extra pages for my signs
I still need to make a few more things and I will definitely be changing the table cloth, but it's slowly coming together.

Burnt Out

I'm in major need of some uplifting... I want my own handmade business so bad, but I'm at that point of just starting and there's so much more I still need to do that it seems the light at the end of the tunnel is so far away. I wish I could just snap my fingers and I'll be where I want to be!
But I guess the accomplishment is actually going through the whole process right? I don't mean to vent. I just need some inspiration or something...ahhh! Oh well, I will try my hardest to make this extra fun and have a positive attitude about it. I'm so happy to have Chase right now, not only is he going through the same sort of thing with his band, but he's so good at supporting my ideas when I start questioning myself.

On the brighter side...Chase made me some logos that are pretty sweet. I just need to make banners and stuff now!

Time for some much needed sleep. Hopefully my mind will be rested and full of new ideas in the morning!

Night :)

New Etsy Shop

Yep...I already changed it...
it is now Red Rabbit instead of Brennahorse. the new url is HERE
(the url is cute cause it could be either "redrabbit shop" or "redrabbits hop"heehee)

I changed it cause I really need to start my own buisness and brennahorse is just my screen name.

It still has all the same items that I had before...just a different name and location. :)

Inspiration

Cute little finds this week :)

Btw my kitty Mac came back last night after disappearing for 2 months. But the poor guy can't use one of his front paws cause it got hurt somehow :( and he's super skinny... But he'll be back to his old self sooner or later. It reminds my of Pet Cemetery Bahaha!

Holiday Craft Sales

Holidays are coming up and so are all the craft sales. There's not much to look forward to in my town as far as that goes, but it still might be fun...if I hit the right sale that is... I got TONS of helpful hints from THIS site. I'll for sure be using a lot of her tips! Especially her clothes line idea.
My first craft sale is in only 2 weeks. This is good. I'm finally getting motivated to come up with a real name and start getting this business (hopefully someday) going. I hope these sales will be good... I highly doubt it in this town. I'll just do my best and try to have a positive attitude. Being in this town could be bad for me because we don't have any young crafters, or it could be good cause nobody's really seen this stuff here and they could be like "ooo this is cool..." I want so bad to show younger people here that sewing isn't just for your Granny anymore. Haha!

For my sister

I started on this probably over a year ago and finally finished it for her!

Yay for finished projects! I'm starting a ton more projects soon for Christmas and a craft fair (that me and my sister-in-law are doing)...Let's hope it doesn't take as long as this did! I tend to start too many projects at once and forget about the others I've started.

Have a happy Wednesday!

Grapfruit Sorbet

I am seriously the worst blogger ever... Brenna = Slacker! Plus I'm sick again for the second time this fall... lame! I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween! I went out of town for Chase's show so I didn't get to do much, but it was still super fun! and the night before I got to go to a Halloween party and we got this crazy pizza (mustard, pineapple, and chicken) and watched Donnie Darko for the first time.

I love that movie! Chase would say the exact opposite...we seem to have completely different opinions on movies.

The other day I finally made sorbet! I love sorbet more then ice cream and I'm obsessed with grapefruit. I found this Grapefruit Sorbet recipe and it was delicious!! (when the ice cream maker would actually work for me...it took a couple batches) here's a link to the video.

Servings: 4
Ingredients:
2 large ruby grapefruits, juiced, or 1 1/2 cups pink grapefruit juice
1 tsp. grapefruit zest (zest before juicing grapefruit)
1/2 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tbs. vodka
1 tsp. grenadine (optional)

Instructions: Combine the sugar and water in a small saucepan; bring to a boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Cool completely.

Combine the grapefruit juice, zest and sugar/water mixture with the vodka and optional grenadine (for color) in a metal bowl. Chill in the refrigerator or by placing the metal bowl over a larger bowl filled with ice water until 40 degrees.

Pour chilled mixture into container of an ice cream machine and churn until frozen.

Scoop frozen sorbet into a container. Seal and transfer container to freezer for several hours to allow sorbet to firm up. (Sorbet can be kept frozen for up to 3 days.)

Yummy!
